The Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) was developed by engineered knitting and 3D modeling from Prada, and features specialized fibers that are suited for repeated wear over the course of long space missions. The garment tackles heat management by allowing a series of tubes to be positioned throughout that will pump in cold water. This is of particular relevance at the lunar South Pole where the temperature difference between the sunlight and the shadow can be as much as 400-degrees.
