The light fixture has a round, saucer-shaped form that's modern and stylish with a simple or vibrantly colored case on the top section. The illumination portion provides bright, crisp lighting over a workstation to support professionals during a meeting or makers as they tinker with a project. The middle section of the light fixture has a spot that looks like a space for an additional bulb, but actually hides an AC outlet to provide access to electricity when it's needed for laptops or smartphones. The 'Avro' pendant lamp is capable of transforming any space into a workstation to prioritize productivity at home or in a converted office space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 14% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Workstation Lighting:** There are opportunities to innovate in lighting design and functionality for workstations, such as providing access to electricity in the light fixture itself. - **Multifunctional Lighting:** Designing light fixtures that can serve multiple purposes, such as providing illumination and access to electricity simultaneously, presents opportunities for innovation. - **Home Office Products:** With an increasing number of people working from home, there is a growing need for products that can transform a residential space into a functional and productive workspace. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting:** The lighting industry has an opportunity to develop products tailored to the needs of professionals working from home, such as lighting fixtures with built-in outlets to provide easy access to electricity. - **Furniture and Home Decor:** Designing furniture that can be multifunctional and adaptable to serve the needs of a home office, such as workstations with built-in lighting and electricity accessibility, is an area for innovation. - **Electronics Manufacturing:** With the increasing reliance on technology in the workplace, manufacturers of electronics have an opportunity to develop products that integrate seamlessly with furniture and lighting fixtures designed for home workspaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Powered Pendant Illuminations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant.md) - [Geometric Industrial Desktop Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-lamp.md) - [AR Projector Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beamar-pendant-lamp.md) - [Flexible Workstation Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archflex-desk-lamp.md) - [Storage-Friendly Task Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storage-lamp.md) - [Elegant Axis-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendulum-lamp.md) - [Industrial Contemporary Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shop-light.md) - [Plant-Supporting Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/led-growlight.md) - [Mixed Material Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gant-pendant-lights.md)
