# Nutritional Fruit Furniture This Avocado Table Will Remind You to Eat Healthy By Nicole Ballantyne-Choo | Published 2013-09-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avocado-table References: [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/listing/112267049/avocado-table-handmade-coffee-table-side) & [wanelo](http://wanelo.com/p/8043850/1398546827) The avocado table is perfect for the family that loves the yummy fruit and healthy eating in general. This coffee table is unlike most, as instead of four legs, it sits on three to resemble a tri-pod. The furniture piece itself is pretty minimalist, but it definitely stands out because of its shape and design. The face of the table looks exactly an opened avocado and it even features the brown pit found in the middle. The color is a sweet light green with a darker green outline to match the skin of an avocado. This table is perfect for people moving into an apartment, as it won't take up much space but it still offers enough room to comfortably eat on. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fruit-inspired Furniture:** Opportunity to create furniture designs inspired by different fruits, combining aesthetic appeal with health-conscious messaging. - **Minimalist Tri-pod Tables:** Opportunity to explore unique table designs with minimalist and tri-pod structures, adding a touch of modernity to interior spaces. - **Healthy Lifestyle Promoters:** Opportunity to develop products that promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices, leveraging the growing interest in wellness among consumers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Opportunity for furniture designers to incorporate playful, fruit-inspired elements into their creations, appealing to health-conscious consumers. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor brands to offer unique and visually appealing minimalist tri-pod tables as functional and stylish additions to interior spaces. - **Health and Wellness:** Opportunity for health and wellness brands to partner with furniture manufacturers, promoting products that align with healthy eating and lifestyle choices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Curvaceous Abstract Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-table.md) - [Italian Appetizer Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aperitivo-coffee-table.md) - [Sensory Stimulation Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasix-table.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-stool.md) - [Triple-Tabletop Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peel-coffee-table.md) - [Modern Customizable Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-table-design.md) - [Fluid Topographic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-table.md) - [Avocado-Shaped Vegetable Cutters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avo-multifunction-veggie-cutter.md) - [Curvaceous Bench-Style Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shell-table.md)
