Ottometric launches an industry-specific autonomous vehicle safety service that is able to provide "an intelligent verification framework that gives a deeper understanding of events and anomalies." Its cloud-based platform utilizes big data to determine the effectiveness of systems in real-world scenarios. It does this through the integration of [artificial intelligence](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-driving-system), [sensor fusion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automotive-sensor), and computer vision. Ottometric will be featured as a promising start-up at this year's Drive World Conference who has entered a partnership with the Embedded Systems Conference. The event takes place in Santa Monica on August 27th until the 29th. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Autonomous Vehicle Safety:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend include the development of advanced AI systems for real-time analysis of events and anomalies in autonomous vehicles. - **Cloud-based Platforms:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend include the creation of cloud-based platforms that utilize big data, AI, and sensor fusion to enhance the effectiveness of autonomous vehicle safety systems. - **Integrated Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend include the integration of artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, and computer vision to create comprehensive and advanced autonomous vehicle safety systems. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Automotive:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry include the development of advanced autonomous vehicle safety systems that utilize cutting-edge technologies like AI, sensor fusion, and computer vision. - **Information Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry include the creation of cloud-based platforms that harness big data and AI to enhance the safety and effectiveness of autonomous vehicle systems. - **Technology Events:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry include showcasing promising start-ups, like Ottometric, that are revolutionizing autonomous vehicle safety at technology conferences and events. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Scalable Auto Ecosystem Integrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-perception-software.md) - [Autonomous Driving System Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autonomous-driving-system.md) - [Truck-Specific Driver Assistance Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/driver-assistance-system.md) - [High-Traffic Infrastructure Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hightraffic-infrastructure.md) - [AI-Powered Smart Camera Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-camera-solution.md) - [Auto-Focused Sensor Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensor-system1.md) - [Predictive Autonomous Vehicle Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verses-ai.md) - [Advanced Automotive AI Technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automotive-ai-technology.md) - [AI-Powered Driving Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aipowered-driving-app.md)
