The Auto Parachute is a parachute designed for use in [skyscraper emergencies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lynx-1). The parachute automatically opens eliminating the need to know how and when to pull the cord at the proper time. The Auto Parachute has also been designed with a built-in first aid kit and indicator beacon to help lead [first responders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ems-drone) to your location. While there hasn't been a major terror attack on a skyscraper since 9/11, I still think its a good idea to stock the [skyscrapers of the world](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-torch) with the Auto Parachute. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Emergency Parachute Systems:** The development of auto-opening parachutes for use in high-rise emergencies presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in safety and evacuation systems. - **Integrated Safety Features:** Designing parachutes with built-in first aid kits and location beacons creates possibilities for disruptive innovation in emergency response and rescue technology. - **Proactive Emergency Preparedness:** The adoption of auto parachutes in skyscrapers reflects a growing trend towards proactive and innovative approaches to emergency preparedness and crisis management. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Safety and Evacuation Systems:** The development and implementation of auto-opening parachutes can revolutionize safety protocols in industries such as high-rise buildings, aviation, and maritime. - **Emergency Response Technology:** The integration of first aid kits and location beacons in parachutes paves the way for disruptive innovation in industries related to emergency response, including search and rescue, disaster relief, and military operations. - **Emergency Preparedness Solutions:** The use of auto parachutes in skyscrapers highlights the need for innovative solutions within the emergency preparedness industry, including safety consulting, training, and equipment manufacturing. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Autonomous Emergency Drone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polestar-duo.md) - [Parachute Delivery Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kirigami-parachute.md) - [Compact Vehicle Escape Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-car-emergency-tool.md) - [Functionally Fashionable Escape Hammers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emergency-car-window-breaker.md) - [Parachute-Resembling Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paraciphers.md) - [Safety-Precaution Wearable Airbags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ydb-airbag.md) - [Airbag-Integrated Bicycle Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airbag-bicycle-helmet.md) - [Flying Umbrella Prototypes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-umbrella.md) - [Airbag-Deploying Travel Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stan-airbag.md)
