The program, which is known by the name 'Ready, Set, Fly…with YYZ,' involved approximately 200 participants who engaged in a simulated journey through the airport environment. This included practicing standard procedures such as checking luggage, proceeding through security checkpoints, and boarding a stationary aircraft. The objective of the 'Ready, Set, Fly…with YYZ' initiative is to alleviate anxiety associated with flying by providing a controlled, predictable rehearsal of the process. Toronto Pearson International Airport has also introduced a complimentary, year-round service that offers personalized travel rehearsals for passengers with various accessibility requirements.
