The [drop-in filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vsco-capture) enable users to change up the look and finish of the photos they capture before they enter post-production, which puts a stronger focus on what can be achieved in the field. This will come as welcome news to photographers looking to shoot scenes in a rustic manner that doesn't require bulky external accessories to be achieved. The Aurora Aperture Adapter Mount Format Filters consists of a single mount that can be integrated with individual filters as required or desired. This also allows photographers to only carry the filters that they need as opposed to all-in-one solutions that may have a bulky design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Drop-in Photography Filters:** The trend of drop-in photography filters allows for seamless integration and enhances the user experience of photography equipment. - **Field Post-production:** The trend of applying filters in the field allows photographers to see and adjust the impact of filters firsthand without post-production. - **Modular Photography Accessories:** Modular photography accessories provide more customization and personalization of equipment for photographers. ### Where This Applies - **Photography Equipment:** The photography equipment industry can take advantage of drop-in filters by designing equipment that's compatible with them, creating a unique selling proposition. - **Camera Lens Filters:** The camera lens filter industry can see a rise in demand as drop-in filters become more popular and photographers seek out specific filter types for different scenarios. - **Photography Education:** The photography education industry can create courses and resources around the trend of field post-production to teach students effective use of filters and other photography techniques. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aftermarket Infrared Photography Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kase-infrared-filters.md) - [Pro-Grade Smartphone Lens Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphone-filter-kit.md) - [Landscape Photographer Camera Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tripod-mount.md) - [Photographer-Grade Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-lensultra-explorer-series.md) - [Space-Saving Smartphone Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-lensultra.md) - [Detachable Mobile Camera Lenses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-camera-lens.md) - [AI Photo Enhancers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filtr.md) - [Interchangeable Filter Webcams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elgato-facecam-4k.md) - [Real Time Film Filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vsco-capture.md)
