The Kia EV6 is the first model in the automaker's lineup to feature an augmented reality windshield. This windshield helps drivers keep eyes on the road, as it displays important information directly on the lower portion of the glass. This information is updated in real-time and includes data points such as current speed, remaining fuel, distance to destination, and more.

The company states that this display will provide "turn-by-turn navigation with animated graphics to better illustrate to the driver the intended course of direction, lane safety info, and a front vehicle indicator." This helps deter crashes and improve general road safety through smart features. The vehicle is also equipped with four cameras around the body which connect to the AR display and can notify the driver of potential collisions from each angle.
