Called the Geometric collection, Atrafloor's designs are illusive shapes that pop in the semblance of three dimensions without resorting to tacky or gimmicky techniques. The boldest of the [3D designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silver-stream-stratos-finish) in Atrafloors new line include 'Cube,' a series of [alternately colored parallelograms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trama-collection) laid out in canted cubic patterns, 'Fairground,' zigzagging lines that subtly shift in shades to give the illusion of depth, and 'Giants Causeway,' which lays out ell-shaped sections to look like sets of stairs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Illusive 3D Flooring Patterns:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced 3D printing techniques for creating realistic and visually stunning flooring patterns. - **Geometric Collection:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the use of augmented reality technology to create interactive and customizable flooring designs. - **Abstract Cubist Patterns:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate machine learning algorithms to create dynamic and ever-evolving flooring patterns that adapt to the user's preferences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate smart home technology with flooring to create energy-efficient and adaptable living spaces. - **Flooring:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop sustainable materials and manufacturing processes for eco-friendly and durable flooring options. - **3D Printing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Focus on developing affordable and accessible 3D printing technology for creating intricate and customizable flooring designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Wood Flooring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kaleidoscope-collection.md) - [Patterned Carpet Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-carpet-tile.md) - [Waffle-Like Patterned Ceramic Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubik.md) - [Patterned Retro Flooring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-newstalgia.md) - [Custom Print Flooring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flotex.md) - [Dynamic Bold Graphic Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eley-kishimoto.md) - [Abstract Geometric Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discorectangle.md) - [Mesmerizing Artful Patterned Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electtrico-collection.md) - [Dynamic Interchangeable Wall Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abyss-wall.md)
