This is used to elevate the overall layout and light circulation across the space. The home originally dates back to the 50s, which has now been reconfigured and updated with curved volumes that feature light wells throughout the interior sections. Other details are the fireplace in the living area and staircases inside and outside. Atelier Delalande Tabourin explains that "Breaking with the existing structure, the geometrically circular movement sequences different living experiences whilst also 'fluidifying' transitions. [It is] a radical statement also aiming to restore importance and emotion to circulation areas, too often ignored or devoid of any particular physical sensation."
