Each individual depiction of a "starry night" is painted onto a different geometric shape and some canvases appear to be textured to add depth to this astronomical artwork. Paintings include depictions of the Northern Lights, tree landscapes underneath thousands of stars, a planet surrounded by space and moonlit views of mountains and trees. The paintings manage to capture the essence of nighttime in nature perfectly -- with dark navy blue surroundings and brightly lit skies. The beautiful paintings come in a variety of sizes and shapes and offer realistic nighttime nature scenes for those who love landscape artwork and photography. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Astronomical Artworks:** There is an opportunity for artists and designers to create innovative and realistic space-themed art using unique geometric shapes and textures that will capture people's imagination. - **Nature-inspired Artworks:** This artistic style provide artists with a chance to explore and use natural scenes like never before, resulting in visually appealing artwork that captures the essence of nature, despite people not being able to experience it firsthand. - **Textured Paintings:** By using various painting techniques, like adding textured coatings to the canvases, artists can add extra depth and dimension to their artwork, creating an immersive and realistic experience for the viewer. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** This industry can offer astronomical and nature-inspired artwork to add style and elegance to their clientele's homes, spicing up their hardware to create unique, ambient spaces. - **Art and Craft:** There is a large market for unique and immersive artwork, and the unique geometric shape paintings can appeal to a broad range of customers, including galleries and fashion enthusiasts. - **Photography:** Using these artworks as props, photographers can create stunning visual landscapes to capture beautiful and realistic night-time scenes, despite lighting and visibility constraints. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intricate Galaxy Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-art-the-milky-way-galaxy.md) - [Astronomy Embroidery Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-map-11-hoop-kit.md) - [Glass Solar System Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-solar-system-in-a-sphere.md) - [Astronomical Concept-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copernica.md) - [Celestial Sculptural Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-collection.md) - [Tree Branch-Formed Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/celestial-attraction.md) - [Immersive Space Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-the-light.md) - [Life-Like 3D Canvases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumino.md) - [Astronaut Night Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-light-projectors.md)
