Designed in Japan, the Astronaut Smartphone Stand boasts an exceptional amount of detail and care. The astronaut's backpack holds your phone, while the astronaut itself is seen gazing at the handheld device in its own hand. Though you may never go to space, at least you'll be able to bring the ideals and passion of space exploration into your home or office. The best part of the stand? When it's not holding your phone, you can use it to reenact scenes from the hit movie Gravity. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Space-themed Accessories:** There is an opportunity for companies to create more stylish and unique items that incorporate space themes such as phone cases, laptop sleeves, and bags. - **Functional Phone Accessories:** There is an opportunity for companies to innovate phone accessories that are functional, such as phone stands and chargers, while also having an interesting design. - **Pop Culture-inspired Phone Stands:** There is an opportunity for companies to create phone stands inspired by popular culture, such as movie or TV show characters, that can be used as collectible items. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can take advantage of creating more functional and unique phone accessories. - **Toy and Collectible:** The toy and collectible industry can create more creative and collectible phone stands that are inspired by pop culture. - **Fashion and Accessories:** The fashion and accessories industry can incorporate space themes such as astronaut and galaxy designs into phone cases, laptop sleeves, and bags. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cement-Made Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artifox-monument.md) - [Gripping Smartphone Mount Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kling-kong-smartphone-kickstand.md) - [Cable Storage Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hold-the-phone-stand.md) - [Pocket-Sized Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mophie-portable-magnetic-stand.md) - [Magnetic Phone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyan.md) - [Versatile EDC Phone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acestand-2.md) - [Freestanding Smartphone Dock Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jteman-phone-stand-and-speaker.md) - [Adjustable Clip Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phoneclip.md) - [Retro Computer Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elago-m4-charging-stand.md)
