Cider brand Aston Manor has announced a shift to [100% recycled plastic bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucozade-packaging) across both its Crumpton Oaks and Frosty Jack's ranges in a bid to reduce its carbon emissions and save plastic. The company reports its packaging update will save 122-tonnes of virgin plastic each year, which converts to about 1.8-million bottles or roughly 261-tonnes of carbon dioxide for its Frosty Jack's range. The Crumpton Oaks range will save 82-tonnes of virgin plastic and boast a reduction in carbon dioxide of 175-tonnes.

Marketing Controller Calli O'Brien spoke on the new Aston Manor packaging update saying, "Aston Manor is so proud to be one of the first [alcohol manufacturers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-gin-bottle) to make the move into 100% recycled PET across our branded portfolio. The changes to our Frosty Jack’s, [Crumpton Oaks and Knights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/straight-outta-crumpton) lines represent an effective, scalable solution to helping us continue to remove original plastic in our packaging, or to use 100% recycled materials.”
