This floor fixture was designed by Koray Ozgen, and the entire lamp glows to emit light from all sides. By placing these around a patio or around your lawn, you'll instantly light up the area in an intimate way, and you won't have to worry about going inside when the sun goes down. Due to its unique form, the lamp doesn't sit flat on on edge. Instead, it's designed to look as though it's an asteroid that has fallen from the sky and landed on one of its irregular sides. Although it's too cold to host outdoor parties in the winter, this asteroid lamp can be used indoors to add a [unique element to your living room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Outdoor Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop energy-efficient outdoor lighting solutions that provide unique and immersive experiences. - **Intimate Ambiance:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative lighting fixtures that enhance the atmosphere of outdoor gatherings and social events. - **Indoor Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design indoor lighting options that bring elements of nature and the cosmos into interior spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine technology and design to create novel lighting fixtures that transform living spaces. - **Hospitality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate unique lighting installations to elevate the guest experience in outdoor venues and event spaces. - **Lighting Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new materials and lighting techniques to create visually striking and energy-efficient lighting products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md) - [Solar System-Inspired Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmooval.md) - [Astro-Inspired Sculptural Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elara-suspension.md) - [3D-Printed Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbyt.md) - [Portable Solar-Powered Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kuro-lantern.md) - [Textured Moon-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-phase-lamp.md) - [Astronomical Concept-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copernica.md) - [Astronaut Night Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-light-projectors.md) - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md)
