Inspired by a text-printed mark, Asterisk by [SAKO Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertical-rainbow-office) is a building that seems to serve as a reference to the experience delivered inside. Containing a [restaurant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logy), the five-winged structure separates its diverse program in a logical way that expresses itself with aesthetic enthusiasm.

Nestled into the countryside near Beijing, China, the project houses a central hallway, kitchens, a primary dining room, private function rooms and a wine showroom in different branches that extend outwards into a star-shaped plan. They merge beneath the drama of a [wood-slatted ceiling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/millo-restaurant) through which sunlight pours from a skylight above.

Asterisk by SAKO Architects is clad in dark timber for a natural beauty. Despite its obviously calculated configuration, the building blends into is beautiful surroundings and reflects gorgeously across the glassy lake.
