The [hydroponic garden system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerospring-pinch-hydroponic-system) works with seed kits that can be quickly set up in the unit before being supported by specialized LEDs and an [automatic watering system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-irrigation). Advanced sensors within the unit also work to keep track of the nutrients in the water, while also ensuring they are getting the right amount of light required for optimal growth. The 'aspara' smart indoor garden also works with an accompanying [smartphone app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/homegardenai) to capture pertinent data from the machine for you to look over as well as making it easier to access supplies, when required. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Indoor Gardening:** The trend of growing greens indoors is creating opportunities in developing innovative automated indoor gardening systems. - **Hydroponics:** The increasing popularity of hydroponics is driving the development of smart indoor garden systems that utilize this soilless growing technique. - **Smart Agriculture:** The integration of sensors and smartphone apps in indoor gardening systems is revolutionizing the way consumers grow and manage their produce at home. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Smart Home:** The smart indoor gardening systems tap into the growing trend of smart home technologies that enhance convenience and efficiency. - **Agriculture Technology:** The development of automated indoor gardening systems falls within the agriculture technology industry, which is constantly seeking innovative solutions to improve crop cultivation. - **Health and Wellness:** The indoor gardening trend caters to the health-conscious consumers seeking fresh and pesticide-free produce, creating a disruptive opportunity in the health and wellness industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Self-Sustaining Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-hydroponic-indoor-garden.md) - [Automated Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-evergrow.md) - [App Controlled Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydroponic-farm.md) - [Automated Indoor Garden Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-hydroponic-garden.md) - [Low-Energy Indoor Garden Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sprouthub-indoor-garden.md) - [AI-Powered Plant Care Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardyn-studio-2.md) - [Indoor Hydroponic Smart Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rise-gardens-indoor-device.md) - [Perennial Indoor Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-gardening-systems.md) - [AI-Powered Autonomous Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardyn.md)
