The [plywood mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hughmanity) are a three-dimensional modern graffiti form and literally make the color pop off the canvas. This series of plywood graphic art from the Moscow based designer debuted in the Russian Faces & Laces [Street Culture Show](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1) earlier this month and was a massive hit. According to [Creative Review](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/what-are-you-looking-at), "Aske starts with a sheet of plywood onto which he transposes his drawings, the individual pieces are then cut out, re-assembled and and painted in acrylics before being mounted." Aske is an artist whose talents expand to a variety of artforms including graphic design, typography and modern graphics. In addition to creating digital artworks, he enjoys using canvases and art objects made out of plywood. What he loves best is to combine working on a computer with handwork. The multi-talented and versatile artist lives by the motto: "Move forward and enjoy what you do." This statement rings true in all of his work with the diligence, detail and passion with which it is completed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/graffiti) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **3D Artwork:** Creating 3D artwork using different media such as plywood provides innovation opportunities for artists to produce unique and visually stimulating designs. - **Modern Graffiti:** Combining different art forms such as graffiti and modern graphic design results in innovative and visually striking creations. - **Digital Handwork:** Blending traditional handwork techniques with digital art creation opens up innovation opportunities for artists to create unique pieces that appeal to a broad audience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art:** Incorporating new media and techniques in art such as 3D printing and digital art creation provides opportunities for artists to create unique pieces that enhance their creative expression. - **Design:** With advances in technology and the rise of digital art, designers can incorporate different techniques such as 3D printing and digital art creation to craft designs that enhance product aesthetics and appeal to a wider audience. - **Street Art:** Artists can draw inspiration from the streets and use innovative techniques such as modern graffiti to produce street art pieces that are visually dynamic and engage with audiences in a powerful way. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Wooden Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aleph-geddis.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Artful Plywood Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bla-station.md) - [Laser-Cut Urban Artistry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-cut-city-maps.md) - [Naturalistic Mosaic Design Tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mosaic-wall-tiles.md) - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Collaborative Monochromatic Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collaborative-monochromatic-art-exhibition.md)
