The chair incorporates an adjustable design that brings the sitter closer to the ground without them actually touching it to help support their posture as they meditate. This customizable design allows users to change the support level to be ideal for their individual preferences, which will help to keep their body in proper alignment. The Les Atelier Courbet 'Asana Chair' is the design work of Mario Milana for the company and has been finished with off-white bouclé fabric crafted by Pierre Frey. As mediation becomes a more popular practice for many consumers, we'll likely continue to see more products and solutions developed with this demographic in mind. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Adjustable Meditation Seating:** The adjustable design of the Les Atelier Courbet 'Asana Chair' presents opportunities for disruptive innovation in the meditation furniture industry. - **Individualized Posture Support:** The customizable support level of the Les Atelier Courbet 'Asana Chair' opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in the ergonomic seating market. - **Meditation-focused Product Development:** The increasing popularity of meditation practices creates opportunities for disruptive innovation in the wellness and lifestyle industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Meditation Furniture:** The Les Atelier Courbet 'Asana Chair' highlights the potential for disruptive innovation in the meditation furniture industry. - **Ergonomic Seating:** The adjustable design of the Les Atelier Courbet 'Asana Chair' presents opportunities for disruptive innovation in the ergonomic seating market. - **Wellness and Lifestyle:** The increasing popularity of meditation practices creates opportunities for disruptive innovation in the wellness and lifestyle industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Slick Ultra-Comfortable Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meditation-chair1.md) - [Adhd-Friendly Meditation Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pipersong-chair.md) - [Folding Travel-Friendly Meditation Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anywhere-kneeling-chair.md) - [Meditation Wood Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vipassa.md) - [Immersive Meditation Support Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meditation-couch.md) - [Zen-Focused Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goyo-chair.md) - [Spiritual Meditation Chair Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/12-chairs-for-meditation.md) - [Body-Hugging Meditation Cushions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-meditation-cushion.md) - [Sleek Posture-Correcting Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ayur-chair-1.md)
