The Vogue Germany 'As Time Goes By' shoot starring model Crystal Renn for the magazines October edition is Old Hollywood Glamour imitation in its finest form.

Renn, a curvaceous model somehow considered plus-sized in the fashion industry flaunts the fashions reminiscent of Joan Crawford, Rita Hayworth and the always classic Audrey Hepburn. The takes look like they're straight out of a Hitchcock reel with shadowed scenery, long-stemmed cigarettes and heavy bangs.

The pictorial, shot by photographer Sebastian Kim shows off American fashion favorites including Lanvin, Ralph Lauren and Hermes while maintaining the melancholic mood that was displayed in the Hollywood era of days gone by.

The styles of the past rocked by Renn are a sufficiently modern nod at noir that could have the power to bring back the whole glam genre.
