# Glass Doored Baths Artweger Twinline 2 has a Sealable Transparent Entrance By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-07-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artweger-twinline-2 References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/005455.html) & [artweger.at](http://www.artweger.at/app1/mouseover.jsp?pg=Dynamische) Considering how heavy water is, glass-enclosed jacuzzis make quite compelling designs. The Artweger Twinline 2 bathtub and shower however, makes a that simple aesthetic look like a solved illusion. This particular bathroom fixture is not novel in its dual integration of both soaker and shower systems, but its appearance does make the combination look quite puzzling. A bulky tub-worthy base is built around most of the basin, but at one end, where the [raised faucet is installed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath), one can enter the wet chamber through a [hinged glass door](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo). Incredibly, this slender transparent surface can be completely sealed so that when the soaker is full, no water will leak out. It also offers the bather a small window beyond the washtub. As far as function is concerned, th Artweger Twinline 2 may be a staple washroom feature, but its spellbinding impression adds delight to an overlooked space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 92% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Glass-doored Bathroom Fixtures:** Innovative glass-enclosed bathroom fixtures with sealable transparent entrance and new designs are opening up markets for tech-savvy consumers and designers. - **Dual Integration of Bathroom Systems:** An emerging trend in bathroom fixture industry is the integration of soaker and shower systems for efficient space utilization and design flexibility. - **Space Saving Bathroom Fixtures:** Compact and space-saving bathroom fixtures are gaining popularity among urban homeowners and designers who value sleek, minimalist designs and space efficiency. ### Where This Applies - **Bathroom Fixture Manufacture:** Bathroom fixture manufacturers can tap into the emerging trend of dual integration of bathroom systems, and the demand for innovative and space-saving products to offer consumers new designs and features. - **Luxury Home Design and Remodeling Services:** Luxury home design and remodeling service providers can offer innovative bathroom fixture options that cater to tech-savvy consumers who value efficiency, minimalism, and luxury. - **Architecture and Interior Design Services:** Architecture and interior design service providers can incorporate glass-enclosed bathroom fixtures into their designs and offer customized solutions that cater to consumers' evolving preferences for sleek, minimalist, and functional bathroom spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxe Translucent Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lusso-amore-freestanding-resin-bath.md) - [Sophisticated High-Design Bath Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soaking-tub.md) - [Japanese Snack Box-Inspired Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bento-starck-box.md) - [Malleable Removable Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathtope.md) - [Rounded Hydromassage Tubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aretusa-tub-by-claudio-papa.md) - [Customizable Minimalist Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acquabella-noon-slate.md) - [Hardwood Based Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-bathtub.md) - [High-End Walk-In Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/american-standard.md) - [Automated Relaxation Bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-bathtub.md)
