Artist Nicola Bolla recreates ordinary and not-so-ordinary objects out of [Swarovski](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swarovski-and-minecraft) crystals. For instance while one sculpture involves the average soccer ball, another one is much more intricate, forming a gravity-defying man. Of course, even the soccer ball is intricate considering that she managed to follow the traditional hexagon pattern of such sports equipment.

Born in the small town of Saluzzo in Italy, artist Nicola Bolla has a very ferocious streak. In addition to the sculptures of the soccer ball and man, she has created skulls, cheetahs and even [weaponry](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nicola-bolla), which was featured a number of years ago.

Essentially, artist Nicola Bolla shows how versatile Swarovski crystals are. They can be used for more than [decor and jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chroma-twist).
