Yet unlike the photographic portfolios of [Isaac Cordal](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collapse-of-capitalism) and [Christopher Boffoli](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-appetites-2), artist Manuel Archain doesn't use miniature toys as his models. Instead, he has shrunk real-life people to fit into surreal everyday situations. From walking about a fully laid kitchen table to peering at work on a home study desk and commuting past kettles and toasters in a office, artist Manuel Archain's indulges his vast imagination through such creative scenes. Hailing from Argentina, he has been honing his artistic abilities since the age of 13, capturing his audience with [similarly impossible imagery](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuel-archain) over the last four years. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Miniature People Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to create captivating and surreal images using miniature people as models. - **Surreal Dioramas:** Opportunity for artists to create intricate and imaginative scenes using real-life people in surreal situations. - **Imaginative Miniature Art:** Opportunity for artists to captivate their audience with impossible imagery using real-life people as subjects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Photographers can explore the trend of miniature people photography to create unique and innovative works of art. - **Art:** Artists can use the concept of surreal dioramas to push the boundaries of traditional art and create thought-provoking and visually appealing pieces. - **Visual Arts:** Visual artists can experiment with the concept of imaginative miniature art to challenge the viewer's perception and create captivating experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Miniature Artful Hip-Hop Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danny-cortes.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Miniature Baking Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-food.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Miniature Collectible Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/world-of-miniverse.md) - [Insect-Inspired Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insect-bronze-sculptures.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md)
