# Polychromatic Landscape Paintings Artist Hyun-Jae Renders Locales with Aurora-Like Colors By Jason Soy | Published 2011-12-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artist-hyun-jae References: [brok-lee.tumblr](http://brok-lee.tumblr.com/post/14809993611) & [waitingforemma.deviantart](http://waitingforemma.deviantart.com/) If landscapes like the ones depicted by artist Hyun-Jae actually existed, people would have no need for television sets; they’d simply marvel at the wonders of nature for entertainment. With [spectacular color displays reminiscent of auroras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borealis-series), Hyun-Jae’s paintings are truly individualistic in that they present the world more stunningly than what most artists are capable of rendering. Who knew looking at clouds could be this engaging? Because of his extensive background in landscape painting, artist Hyun-Jae produces pictures with dynamic backdrops equally as appealing as his subjects. His rendering of Spider-Man in front of a chaotic collage of [smeared paints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yolo-paint) is visually provocative. And his fantasy illustrations featuring [gigantic mountainsides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispering-mountains) and inviting sea waters almost steal the show from the characters within each respective painting. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Polychromatic Landscape Art:** An increase in artists using colorful and vibrant hues to paint landscapes offers opportunities in the art market for unique visual experiences. - **Nature-inspired Art:** Artistic renderings of natural landscapes with aurora-like colors give rise to an emerging trend in nature-inspired artwork. - **Dynamic Backdrops in Painting:** The trend towards using intricate and visually engaging backgrounds in paintings provides opportunities for innovative artists to stand out in the highly competitive art world. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Artistic Services:** The trend towards more colorful and unique landscape paintings presents opportunities for painters and artists to attract new customers and differentiate themselves from competitors. - **Home Decor:** The increasing demand for visually stimulating artwork featuring nature-inspired landscapes creates opportunities in the home decor industry for unique and standout pieces. - **Tourism:** The trend towards nature-inspired and visually stunning artwork featuring landscapes with vibrant colors creates opportunities for the tourism industry to market specific destinations and locations depicted in the artwork. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Unique Interactive Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-aurora.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Sky-Based Visual Palettes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stratosplash.md) - [Weather-Inspired Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weatherinspired-art-exhibition.md) - [Immersive Light Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch.md) - [Hand-Painted Watercolor Prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emma-webster.md) - [Television-Showcased Abstract Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-oled-lounge.md)
