The Artisans Group has built a home in the United States that is [extremely energy efficient](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-passiv), to the point where in the winter the interior will stay warm with almost no energy needed. In fact, it will take "less energy than it takes to run a hair dryer," according to DesignBoom.

This feat is achieved through a few different techniques, but the main one involves utmost attention to insulation throughout. Since most of the house is air-tight allowing the warm air to stay trapped inside, only minimal heating is needed for a short period of time.

The home was built for a smaller family, who clearly are doing their best to reduce their impact on the environment through living in this abode.
