# Courtyard Infill Homes Arthur Residence is Organized Around a Sequence of Enclosed Gardens By Amy Duong | Published 2025-12-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arthur-residence References: [5468796](https://5468796.ca/) The [Arthur Residence](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arthur-mini) is a private house in Regina, Saskatchewan, designed by 5468796 Architecture on a narrow urban infill site. The two-storey home occupies the full width of the lot and is structured around a series of [inward-facing garden courts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-double-courtyard-house) that bring light and privacy into the interior. A restrained street-facing façade conceals the plan, with entry occurring through a perimeter wall that leads into a sheltered courtyard. From there, the ground floor unfolds through a sequence of planted spaces that connect the foyer, living room, dining area, and kitchen. The main living spaces are arranged around a [sunken patio and garden court](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patio-house-residence), allowing each room to receive daylight while maintaining visual separation from neighboring properties. Two bedroom suites are positioned on the upper level and accessed by separate staircases, reinforcing a sense of privacy. Curved plaster walls, large glazed openings, and continuous garden views create a calm interior environment that emphasizes spatial flow and controlled openness.
