# Bovine Bathroom Fixtures (UPDATE) Artceram Decorated Cow Line Adds a Spot of Fun to Sanitaryware By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-11-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artceram-decorated-cow References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/005863.html) & [artceram.it](http://www.artceram.it/EN/products/collections/DECOR-COW-bw.php) Not long ago I featured a line of [plumbing fixtures](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artceram-cow-bathroom-collection) inspired by the forms of cattle, but quite amusingly, the designers actually offer an embellished version of these pieces with the Artceram Decorated Cow collection. The four-footed [toilets, bidets, sink basins and bathtubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-piece-bidet-toilet) embody [smooth and plump shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hewi-and-barbie) that breathe whimsical life into otherwise inanimate objects. [Sophisticated washroom pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bezel-collection) can be particularly stark, making these all the more delightful. This line is remarkably different and enhanced in a humorous way through the application of patchy black spots, complete ebony veneers and curious butcher overlays. The Artceram Decorated Cow collection actually labels different parts of the figurative heifer with dotted lines and designations of different cuts of meat. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Whimsical Bathroom Fixtures:** There is an opportunity for designers to create bathroom fixtures with playful and whimsical designs, adding an element of fun to the normally mundane space. - **Embellished Home Decor:** There is a market for home decor items that are embellished and adorned with unique designs, offering consumers a way to express their individuality in their living spaces. - **Humorous Design Elements:** Designers can incorporate humorous elements into their creations, injecting a sense of joy and amusement into everyday objects. ### Where This Applies - **Home Furnishings:** The home furnishings industry can explore the idea of incorporating whimsical and embellished designs into their bathroom fixtures and other household items. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate humorous design elements into their projects, creating unique and personalized spaces for their clients. - **Art and Decor:** Artists and decorators can create one-of-a-kind pieces that feature humorous and whimsical designs, offering consumers a way to showcase their personality and sense of humor in their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Durable Animal-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metal-cow-accent-table.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Artfully Sculptured Textured Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-formation-02.md) - [Quirky Toilet Brushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-toilet-brush.md) - [Sustainable Bathroom Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-bathroom-design.md) - [Collaborative Bathroom Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-design2.md) - [Industrious Refined Bathroom Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cast-bathroom.md) - [Playful Concrete Wash Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kast-wave-collection.md) - [Sophisticated High-Design Bath Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soaking-tub.md)
