Seattle-based artist John Grade has taught his newest masterpiece an interesting trick; this art sculpture can breathe.

This site-specific work of art reacts to the climate it is inhabited in. Its current home is the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Wisconsin, USA. This big and beautiful [art sculpture stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eye-of-the-future) at 40’ x 20’ x 20’ and slowly but surely reacts to the weather and temperature conditions of the outside.

This piece behaves accordingly to the stats collected outside of its home and a [mechanized controller within the installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transmutation-observatory) powers the sculpture so that it appears to be breathing slowly. This amazing piece is among the first art sculptures in the world to have such keen human-like properties while still remaining so pleasing to eye.

Perhaps for his next project, John can construct a sculpture that can beat box!
