The Art to the Toilet Seat continues to show at a Chicago area gallery, meaning you can check out a [White Sox](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/white-modular-house-1) game and see something awesome. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Toilet Seat Art:** Toilet seats are being used as a unique canvas for art, presenting an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the art industry. - **Unconventional Art Forms:** Using unconventional items as a medium for art is becoming increasingly popular, presenting an opportunity for artists and art businesses to differentiate themselves. - **Toilet-themed Exhibitions:** Exhibiting unusual themes such as toilet seats in art galleries is becoming a trend, presenting an opportunity for galleries to attract new audiences and generate buzz. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** The trend of using unconventional items as a medium for art presents an opportunity for innovation in the art industry and differentiation for artists and art businesses. - **Gallery:** Exhibiting unusual and unconventional themes, such as toilet seats, in art galleries is becoming a trend presenting an opportunity for galleries to attract new and differentiated audiences. - **Home Decor:** The trend of using decorated toilet seats as art presents an opportunity for innovation and differentiation in the home decor industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Stool-Inspired Design Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hackability-of-the-stool.md) - [Illuminated Public Artful Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroo-east-park.md) - [Sizable Chair Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-installation.md) - [Painterly Dining Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/7-paintings-the-art-of-dining.md) - [Ceramic Chess Seating Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chair-chess.md) - [Industrial Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sized.md) - [Playful Button-Focused Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beau-mccall.md) - [Health Object Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/out-of-orifice.md)
