Art for Pitties is a collaborative project started by New York-based activist Jenith Mateja that aims to fight the reputation of pit bulls as violent breed of dog.

The project involves thirty artists who create their own one-of-a-kind pieces for an auction. All the money raised from ‘Art for Pitties’ will go to the [pit bull advocacy group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-ownership) ‘Even Chance.’ Hopefully, this campaign will help to show that pit bulls are pleasant companions that do not pose an inherent danger to human beings.
