The 'Woo Building' houses the ceramics, glass-making, jewelry & metalwork classes for an art college, but the design of the structure is rather minimalist. Its square shape and factory-like construction features little ornamentation while providing a backdrop for creativity. The building consists of large and industrial student spaces as well as an abundance of natural light.

The [Royal College of Art's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phytosymbiosis) [latest classrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cannady-hall) are described as "containers for creativity," and provide a place where ingenuity and inventiveness can be harnessed. Architect Haworth Tompkins is known for similar projects that references a warehouse aesthetic -- this particular structure features a [sawtooth roof and simple materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tengbom). The functional construction of the Woo building is done purposefully, to inspire those inside it to create art.
