It has a fantastical vibe about it that just doesn't make it suitable for real life, yet it is very much real. Knives on guns isn't something new, but [guns in knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/f2-bravo-tactical-folding-knife)? That's pretty unusual. Essentially, the Arsenal Firearms 22LR Ballistic Knife has a small hole on the hilt of the [knife where the blade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oknife) ends. It is from here that the bullets charge out of. It loads six .22 caliber bullets and fires from a special trigger. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Gun-knife Hybrids:** The integration of guns and knives creates disruptive innovation opportunities in the self-defense industry. - **Concealed Weaponry:** The development of hidden weapons, like the Arsenal Firearms 22LR Ballistic Knife, presents disruptive innovation opportunities for the security and law enforcement industries. - **Novelty Weapon Designs:** The creation of unique weapon designs, such as the Arsenal Firearms 22LR Ballistic Knife, opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the collectibles and entertainment industries. ### Who This Affects Most - **Self-defense:** The concept of gun-knife hybrids can disrupt the self-defense industry by offering a versatile and compact weapon for personal protection. - **Security:** Concealed weaponry, like the Arsenal Firearms 22LR Ballistic Knife, has disruptive innovation potential for the security industry, enabling hidden protection mechanisms in various settings. - **Law Enforcement:** The integration of concealed weapons, exemplified by the Arsenal Firearms 22LR Ballistic Knife, can lead to disruptive innovation in law enforcement tools, providing officers with covert backup options in critical situations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Titanium Tactical Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serpblade.md) - [Multifunctional EDC Tactical Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a7-zastava.md) - [Compact Tactical OTF Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a5-spry.md) - [Dynamic Movement Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/craighill-sidewinder-knife.md) - [Intuitive Safety Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leatherman-blazer.md) - [Miniature EDC Sword Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/micro-katana.md) - [Compact Titanium Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/g9-knife.md) - [Foldable Tactical Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/f2-bravo.md) - [Money Clip-Equipped EDC Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microtech-exocet-dagger.md)
