The Arrow Door Handle is designed to literally point you in the right direction on how to open a door. The Arrow Door Handle was designed by Eun Ah Kim, Jinhyuk Rho and Maria Rho. The design turns the ordinarily tame and unintuitive [door bar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tcl-k1) on its head by turning it into an indicator arrow. The arrow serves both an aesthetic and a functional purpose as it shows people whether to [push or pull](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/homing-compass) the handle. Walking into a door because you pushed when you should have pulled is no fun. A design like this could prevent those embarrassing miscues and also add a little bit of pizazz and creativity to buildings. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Functional Design:** The Arrow Door Handle's functional design trend solves a common problem with creative and fun solutions. - **User Experience:** The Arrow Door Handle trend focuses on enhancing user experience with intuitive and interactive design. - **Aesthetics and Functionality:** The Arrow Door Handle trend combines aesthetics and functionality to provide a unique and efficient solution to a common problem. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture:** The Arrow Door Handle trend can disrupt architecture by providing an innovative and interactive design element. - **Interior Design:** The Arrow Door Handle trend can revolutionize interior design with a new approach to functional design. - **Product Design:** The Arrow Door Handle trend presents a disruptive opportunity for product designers looking to combine aesthetics and functionality in their designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hands-Free Door Handle Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/safe-lever-door-opener.md) - [3D-Printed Door Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ross-lovegroves-door-handles.md) - [Sculptural Door Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edge-door-handle.md) - [Hands-Free Home Doors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/milda-evolve-door.md) - [Elegant Wooden Pull Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ribbon-pull.md) - [Bold Wooden Hardware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wide-guy-door-pull.md) - [Elevated Hand Tool Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arrow.md) - [Innovative Customizable Door Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-door-system.md) - [Domed Door Knob Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/h03-knob-on-half-moon.md)
