In actuality, this piece of furniture is one seamless table with a unique lip that gives the traditional coffee table a quirky, yet convenient and contemporary update. This raised lip will certainly contain any clumsy spills that might occur. Designed by Thomas Bentzen, the Around Coffee Table is minimal, durable and timeless. Made out of oak, ash and colored ash, the Around Coffee Table is available in a variety of colors, including oak, ash, black, grey, red and yellow. Perfect for just about any home, this piece of furniture can add a bold touch. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Seamless Furniture:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Design furniture that seamlessly combines multiple functional elements into one cohesive piece. - **Quirky Design:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Create furniture with unique and unconventional design elements that offer both convenience and aesthetic appeal. - **Colorful Options:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Develop furniture lines that offer a wide range of vibrant color choices to allow for personalized home decor. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Integrate advanced materials and manufacturing techniques to create seamless and visually appealing furniture designs. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Collaborate with furniture designers to create unique and unconventional pieces that enhance the overall aesthetic of interior spaces. - **Home Decor Retail:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation: Curate a diverse range of furniture options that offer vibrant color choices to meet the personalized style preferences of customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Tray Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taso-tray-table.md) - [Bookshelf-Incorporated Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overlap-table.md) - [Triple-Tabletop Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peel-coffee-table.md) - [Bent Multi-Functional Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shell-table.md) - [Luxe Low-Slung Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/attraction-coffee-table.md) - [Japandi-Style Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloth-coffee-table.md) - [Dynamic Coffee Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ryb-coffee-table.md) - [Curvaceous Animalistic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookpet-coffee-table.md) - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md)
