# Colorfully Illuminated Abodes The Armin Blasbichler Studio Design's the 'der Muslhaufen' House By Sarah Nazim | Published 2012-05-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/armin-blasbichler-studio References: [studio.arminblasbichler](http://studio.arminblasbichler.com/) & [mymodernmet](http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/armin-blasbichler-der-muslhaufen) The Armin Blasbichler Studio is an modern architectural and design studio that is constantly developing unique artistic pieces. The whimsical 'der Muslhaufen' house is located in South Tyrol, Italy and is filled with [minimalist decor concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-minimale). The playful design includes [colored stained glass windows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tranquil-abiding), laminated glass, wood frames, doors in ceilings and even doors within doors. The multiple doors reminds me of the classic [Disney](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-x-bobby-kim) movie 'Alice in Wonderland,' which is very fantasy-like. Once the sun shines through the glass windows, it reflects a plethora of colors along the walls and staircase. Since the house was constructed in a suburban area, the color swatches were included in the decor by using colors that reflected the outdoor scenery such as faded rose and deep orchid. The Armin Blasbichler house provides wonderful inspiration for those who want to incorporate modern accents into their living spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Colorful Designs:** Incorporating minimalist design concepts with vibrant and colorful accents in architecture and interior design for living spaces. - **Glass Art:** Innovative use of stained and laminated glass in architecture, creating unique colorful atmospheres within living spaces. - **Interior Design Inspiration:** Using unique and whimsical architectural concepts as inspiration for creating modern and artistic living spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Architecture:** Opportunities for architects to incorporate vibrant and playful design concepts into their projects for clients seeking unique and modern living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Opportunities for interior designers to incorporate colorful glass art and minimalist design concepts into their creations for clients seeking unique and sophisticated living spaces. - **Art and Decor:** Opportunities for artists and decor designers to incorporate the playful and whimsical style of Armin Blasbichler Studio into their works, providing customers with unique and artistic pieces for their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Curved Translucent Experimental Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptors-apartment.md) - [Nature-Rooted Family Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haus-am-lagnesberg.md) - [Crafted Historic Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pppler.md) - [90s-Inspired Vibrant Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holboro-house.md) - [Geometric Colorful Residential Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphic-house.md) - [Nature-Surrounded Miniature Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mini.md) - [Forest Lantern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iside-home.md) - [Cool Tonal Stylistic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/take-time.md) - [Elevated Design-Forward Pink Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pink-villa1.md)
