A closer look, however, will reveal the subtle presence of the Ariane Modular Trellis, which is the catalyst behind the particular forms that have arisen. Designer Emilie Colin Garros won a young talent prize for this concept within Jardins Jardin this year. It is a relatively minimal piece with the great potential to give gardeners control and turn their plants into [living sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leaves). Each unit has the simplified anatomy of a snowflake. It's flat with a [loosely hexagonal theme](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airhive) to its asymmetrical branches that makes it easy to tack them up on exterior walls in any odd arrangement. With a tiny bit of training for the climbers, the Ariane Modular Trellis will help you shape your [vertical landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modular Trellis Gardening:** The trend of using modular trellises to shape vertical landscapes using minimal pieces and giving gardeners more control. - **Organic Growth Sculpting:** The trend of using trellises as catalysts for organic growth and turning plants into living sculptures. - **Hexagonal Asymmetrical Designs:** The trend of using hexagonal asymmetrical designs to allow for odd arrangements to be easily tacked up on exterior walls. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gardening:** Innovative trellises are poised to disrupt the gardening industry, particularly in shaping vertical landscapes and turning plants into living sculptures. - **Home Decor:** Trellises with hexagonal asymmetrical designs have the potential to disrupt the home decor industry by allowing for unique wall displays with organic plant growth. - **Architecture:** Modular trellises used as catalysts for organic growth have the potential to disrupt the architecture industry, particularly in incorporating living sculptures into building designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Plant-Filled Latticed Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touching-eden-house.md) - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetment-vegetable-cultivator.md) - [Living Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive.md) - [Climbing Plant-Wrapped Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nevogilde.md) - [Illusory Planter Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-planter.md) - [Building Block Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-planterior.md) - [Ergonomic Latticed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardiners-sofa.md)
