The helmet is outfitted with an [augmented reality (AR) display](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ar-aimglass) that's controlled by the user's eyes to help them keep their focus on the environment without losing sight of connectivity needs. Wearers could thus keep abreast on the latest information related to mountain rescue scenarios, while also sending their own updates without needing to use their hands. The conceptual Argus AR Helmet incorporates advanced technologies, but is also focused on safety with the ability to protect the wearer from impact in the event of a fall or an unexpected collision. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.3/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 63% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ar-eye-control Interfaces:** New AR technology using eye-control interfaces offers a hands-free experience that enhances user safety and awareness in high-risk situations. - **Wearable Mountain Rescue Tech:** The integration of interactive technologies in safety helmets opens up new possibilities for real-time data sharing in mountain rescue operations. - **Smart Safety Gear:** Incorporating smart technology into traditional safety equipment is transforming its utility while maintaining its protective function. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Augmented Reality:** The adoption of AR in personal safety equipment represents a shift towards more immersive and interactive user experiences. - **Outdoor Sports Equipment:** Advanced technological integration is elevating traditional outdoor sports gear into multifunctional tools that enhance both safety and performance. - **Rescue Services:** Innovations in wearable technology for rescue services could drastically improve the communication and response times in emergency situations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cinema-Scale AR Smart Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightweight-ar-glasses.md) - [Augmented Reality Motorcyclist Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoei-eyelights-gtair-3-smart.md) - [Mirrored Winter Sport Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ruroc-chrome-snow-helmet.md) - [AR-Integrated Smart Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoeigtair3.md) - [Visual Eyewear Visor Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-aid-smart-visor.md) - [Comprehensive XR Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extended-reality.md) - [AR Motorcycle Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ar-motorcycle-helmet.md) - [Smart Safety Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucyd-armor.md) - [Superhuman Sight AR Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utrack-ar.md)
