The magnificent 'City-Park' concept will rise to airy heights and expand to new lengths, introducing not simply an imposing building construction but rather a far-reaching urban transformation. The massive J-shaped structure features clustered units of living space blended with extensive facilities and interior botany gardens. Complementing the eminent skyline of the Big Apple, the curvy concept boasts transparent blob-like patterns and sits on an impressive river-level veranda, an ideal area for social activities. Last but not least, this high-rise sculpt delivers a slender super-extensive pedestrian lane over Hudson River, elegantly linking Hudson Park and Central Park. Designed by Meryem Ozturkoglu out of a tree formation, the captivating concept presents a bold urban statement on sustainability, while maintaining its association with the daunting image and eco-friendly future of the City. Needless to say, I will be setting up my own blob as soon as a two-bedroom one becomes available. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Green Architecture:** The J-shaped architecture incorporates extensive botany gardens, demonstrating the trend of integrating green spaces into building design. - **Urban Transformation:** The 'City-Park' concept represents a bold urban transformation, showcasing the trend of creating entire ecosystems within a single building structure. - **Sustainable Skyscrapers:** The J-shaped structure emphasizes sustainability and eco-friendliness, highlighting the trend of designing environmentally conscious high-rise buildings. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Architects can explore innovative ways to incorporate green spaces and sustainable features into their designs, inspired by the J-shaped 'City-Park' concept. - **Urban Planning:** Urban planners can consider the concept of creating integrated ecosystems within buildings to maximize green spaces and enhance urban environments. - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers can capitalize on the trend of sustainable skyscrapers by incorporating eco-friendly features and promoting green living in their projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Greenery-Filled Skyscraper Terrarium](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terrarium-cheongdam.md) - [Staggered Tower Texan Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1550-on-the-green.md) - [Brooklyn Residential Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-brook.md) - [Forest Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonderwoods-vertical-forest.md) - [Detroit Tower Redevelopments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shop-architects-hudson.md) - [Staggered Cubic Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ooda.md) - [Terraced Urban Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/go-park-sai-sha.md) - [Ski Resort Crystalline Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trojena-ski-resort.md) - [Upcoming Architectural Floating Parks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/centroparco.md)
