This adorable watercolor book is meant to be a kid’s guide to the world’s most famous buildings, but I wouldn’t judge anyone who wanted it for themselves. In this book by Stella Gurney, a British pigeon takes the reader on a tour around the world to look at some truly amazing human achievements. Architecture According To Pigeons not only provides beautiful illustrations of famous buildings from a bird’s eye view, it also includes some interesting facts about the structures. Some of the places visited in its pages are the Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Eiffel Tower. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Architectural Education for Children:** Incorporating architecture into children's literature presents an opportunity to educate young minds about the built environment. - **Bird's Eye View Perspectives:** Focusing on bird's eye view perspectives allows for unique storytelling and engagement with architecture and landmarks. - **Interdisciplinary Art and Design:** Combining art, illustration, and architectural concepts in storytelling opens up new possibilities for creative expression. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Children's Publishing:** The children's publishing industry can continue to innovate by exploring different educational themes, such as architecture. - **Architecture and Design:** Architects and designers can utilize bird's eye view perspectives to reimagine and communicate their projects effectively. - **Tourism and Travel:** Tourism and travel industries can leverage bird's eye view storytelling to create engaging and immersive experiences for visitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Lighweight Birdwarching Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-roost.md) - [Educational Linoleum Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elvi-birdhouse.md) - [Modernism Birdhouse Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwellings-project.md) - [Architectural Toy Publications](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-dreamhouse-an-architectural-survey.md) - [Interactive Observation Wooden Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domik-ptashki.md) - [Bold Architectural Monographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/richard-rogers-talking-buildings.md) - [Floating Duck Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-plan-vi-call-duck.md) - [Birdhouse-Integrated Address Signs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/our-common-house.md) - [Curvaceous Artful Play Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-pavilion.md)
