Appropriately named 'The Hill,' the construction is "defined by a [sloping green roof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hengqin-culture-and-art-complex)" that is host to artwork, pavilions and an [indoor theater](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/river-culture-and-art-centre). The framework of the building is created to satisfy the needs and aesthetic of the Taoyuan Museum of Art in Taiwan, as well as to establish a "symbolic getaway to the heart of the city." The museum design combines natural motifs with art history. While the slanted roof incorporates a green garden with commercial space for additional exhibitions and selling artwork, the inside of the structure — dubbed 'The Cube,' is a place for the Taoyuan Museum of Art's [permanent collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-for-architecture).
