Each building is done in a different style from Art Decto to brutalism as Babina captures the changing use of shape and form throughout the ages. The drawings come together to form the series entitled Archistyle that showcase a visual chronology of design. Architecture often moves through different transitional stages that focus on dramatically contrasting styles. The Archistyle series showcases these movements through a repeated illustration of a building that is constantly adapted to suit the different architectural styles. For example, the [Art Deco](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uxbridge-bower) piece focuses on the use of geometric shapes in design as well as large windows and linear forms. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Architectural Movements:** The Archistyle series by Federico Babina showcases different architectural movements through building illustrations. - **Design Chronology:** The Archistyle series visually chronicles the evolution of design and architectural styles over time. - **Adapting Styles:** Each building in the Archistyle series is adapted to suit different architectural styles, highlighting the ability to transform and evolve. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** Architects can draw inspiration from the Archistyle series to explore new ways of combining and adapting various architectural movements. - **Design:** Designers can study the Archistyle series to understand the evolution of design styles and incorporate elements from different movements into their work. - **Art:** Artists can use the Archistyle series as a reference to create visually captivating illustrations that depict architectural movements and their impact on society. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bauhaus-Inspired Pattern Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/design-en-rogue.md) - [Industrial Architecture-Themed Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/industrial-archaeology.md) - [Retro Drawing-Inpsired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/family-project.md) - [Luxuriously Artistic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/child-studio1.md) - [Pavilion-Style Art Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/galeria-house.md) - [Rustic Cultural Architectural Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gallery-house.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Modular Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dust-order.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md)
