Its efforts revolve around stunning outdoor cat shelters that any stylish contemporary individual would want to display in their own yard or balcony. Revealed earlier during the [Giving Shelter exhibit](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-shelter), people are now being treated to a closer look at the designs. Architects for Animals donated proceeds from the event to FixNation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to minimizing [cat populations in a humane way](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mew-cat-care-set). The collection of cat shelters features the work of Abramson Teiger Architects, DSH// architecture, Formation Association + Edgar Arceneaux, Perkins and Will and more. Each of the Architects for Animals submissions is more experimental than the next. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Stylish Outdoor Cat Shelters:** Opportunity for innovative designs and materials in creating aesthetically pleasing cat shelters. - **Humane Solutions for Cat Population Control:** Emphasis on finding compassionate and effective ways to minimize cat populations. - **Collaborative Efforts in Cat Shelter Design:** Opportunity for architects and designers to collaborate on creating unique and functional cat shelters. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** Innovative designs for outdoor cat shelters can inspire architects to explore new possibilities in building design. - **Non-profit Organizations:** Opportunity for non-profit organizations to collaborate with architects and designers in finding humane solutions for cat population control. - **Pet Products:** Increased demand for stylish and functional outdoor cat shelters can drive innovation in the pet products industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Feline-Focused Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-tree-house-1.md) - [Sustainable Portable Cat Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batsy-cat-shelter.md) - [Artful Doghouse Design Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-for-dogs-exhibition.md) - [Cat-Catered Large Japanese Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-cat-tree-house.md) - [Vertical Feline Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-tree-house-2.md) - [Cityscape-Like Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mocats.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Stylish Stimulating Cat Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/catit.md) - [Hybrid Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cat-tower.md)
