The Arche One by Eslam Mohammed is a concept computer mouse wrapped entirely in walnut veneer, developed as an exploration of how everyday tech objects can feel crafted rather than manufactured. Instead of applying wood as a surface detail, the design integrates veneer across the full form, creating a continuous organic shell with a low profile and elongated tail. The silhouette reads more like a sculpted object than a peripheral, shifting the mouse away from the aggressive, plastic-heavy language typical of gaming and office hardware.

The mouse combines this material approach with fully specified hardware, including a 26,000 DPI optical sensor, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, USB-C charging, and a lithium-polymer battery rated for extended use. A knurled metal scroll wheel sits flush within the body, contrasting against the wood grain. The concept was developed using multiple digital tools to simulate veneer layering and curvature.
