The goggles incorporate augment reality (AR) technology that's supported by artificial intelligence (AI), which work together to deliver a range of information directly to the user's viewpoint. The headset has a full-color augmented reality display that's suitable for outdoor use and viewing, and will offer information about speed, weather conditions, route and more. The Ostloong 'Sirius' AR goggles have an intuitive interface that's managed via a series of buttons on the side. A discreet camera lens at the top of the goggles captures data for the AR system, but can also be used for snapping photos on the slopes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ar-enhanced Snow Sports Equipment:** Developing AR technology that integrates with snow sports equipment, such as skis or snowboards, presents an opportunity for creating a unique and interactive experience for users. - **AI-assisted Augmented Reality Displays for Outdoor Use:** Designing AR technology that can be seamlessly integrated into outdoor activities through the use of AI can provide a new level of information and fun for enthusiasts. - **Ar-enabled Protective Headgear for Extreme Activities:** Integrating AR technology into protective headgear, such as helmets or goggles, can provide a safer experience for users while also enhancing performance and enjoyment. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Sports Equipment:** With the development of AR-enhanced sports equipment, manufacturers can differentiate themselves in the market by providing a unique and custom experience for their users. - **Outdoor Gear:** The integration of AI-assisted AR technology into outdoor gear can create new opportunities for companies to provide innovative and enhanced experiences for their customers. - **Protective Gear:** Designing and manufacturing protective gear with AR technology integrated is an opportunity for companies to provide enhanced safety features while also increasing the value and utility of their products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Connected Snow Sport Goggles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rekkie-smart-snow-goggles.md) - [AR-Enabled Ski Rescue Helmets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/argus-ar-helmet.md) - [Eye-Controlled Rescue Helmet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/argus-ar.md) - [AR-Enabled Sports Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engo-2.md) - [Real-Time Performance-Tracking Eyewear Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-eyewear1.md) - [Cyclist-Targeted AR Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lawk-one-ar-glasses.md) - [AI-Connected Sports Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ar-hud-display.md) - [Superhuman Sight AR Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/utrack-ar.md) - [Discreetly Connected AR Sunglasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everysight-maverick.md)
