# Realistic Aquatic Renderings (UPDATE) Keng Lye Draws Fish That Appear Lifelike By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-08-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aquatic-renderings References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/art/keng-lye-realistically-renders-aquatic-life-paint-resin-23-08-2014/) & [kenglye.deviantart](http://kenglye.deviantart.com/) When it comes to [aquatic renderings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reef-1), nobody composes them quite as lifelike as Keng Lye. The talented artist has furthered his portfolio with even more [fishy features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summertime-art-box) that, even when one looks closely, are hard to believe are not real. The artist places each fish in a plastic liquid that looks like water, and builds up these 3D items. Each one is given the same detail a regular fish would have, so for those who are looking for a pet without any care involved, this would be the best option. While it doesn't move, it certainly looks like a real creature! The amount of time and effort Keng Lye puts into each 3D work is impressive, as it takes extreme patience to produce items of this calibre.
