Its creative design by [Organic Culture Group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-fertilizer) allows plants to grow off a tiny fish bowl, using the fish's waste to naturally feed the plant. The Aqua Mini Capsule is a tiny fish bowl that fits in the palm of your hand; only this one comes with a removable screw-on lid that firmly holds up the growing plant. The Aqua Mini Capsule is a beautiful organic system that also is home to a pet. To grow your plant, you simply twist open the cap, place two or three small fish and water, then plant a seed inside a slotted tube. The small orb-like capsule is also attachable to smooth surfaces, making it a visually intriguing [home plant](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo-green-system). Because it is so tiny, it is easily portable. It would make a nice decor idea for the office, kitchen, living room or a classroom. The grow system can grow organic foods, like basil or mint. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Soil-free Plant Growth:** The Aqua Mini Capsule demonstrates the trend of growing plants without the need for soil, opening up opportunities for innovative urban farming solutions. - **Multi-functional Home Systems:** The Aqua Mini Capsule combines the functions of a fish bowl, plant pot, and decor item, showcasing the trend of integrating multiple functions into one product. - **Sustainable Pet Products:** The Aqua Mini Capsule offers a sustainable way of providing a home for pets while also incorporating plant growth, reflecting the trend of eco-friendly pet products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Urban Farming:** The Aqua Mini Capsule presents an innovative solution for urban farming with its soil-free plant growth technology. - **Home Decor:** The Aqua Mini Capsule fits into the home decor industry, providing a visually intriguing and portable plant display. - **Pet Care:** The Aqua Mini Capsule taps into the pet care industry by offering a unique and sustainable habitat for small fish and plants. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Container-Based Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-farm-mini.md) - [Spherical Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-basil-selfwatering-globe.md) - [Haute Hydroponic Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasis-smart-farm.md) - [Minimalist Indoor Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-pot.md) - [Wall-Mounted Hydroponic Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydroartpod.md) - [Small Space Hydroponic Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerospring-pinch-hydroponic-system.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Automated Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-evergrow.md)
