Rumours have been circulating about [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-icar-concept) teaming up with [VolksWagen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atari-and-airconsole), but it looks as if the design directors at [Jaguar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jaguar-type-00) want in on the action too.

"We have been working with Apple on control interfaces," a Jag rep confirmed.

Together, they came up with the JaguarDrive Selector, a new system that would replace the gearstick with a circular, metallic wheel that rises when the car is turned on. In order to switch between P, R, N and D, the device is twisted, an action which has been called, "pleasant and seamless."
