For starters, when connecting AirTags to a device that runs iOS 15.4, there is now a warning that explicitly states that tracking other people's AirTags is a crime and that this action can be traced back to your AppleID for identification. In addition to this warning and legal disclaimer, the new iOS update also notifies AirTag users of [unknown AirTags in their vicinity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-airtag-2). This notification is distinct, combining a visual, auditory, and haptic response that notifies users of surrounding devices. This can prevent stalking through spatial awareness because the notification gives users a window to assess the situation and prepare.
