The design studio was inspired by the freedom of childhood and updated a modern condo space with a built-in slide. This playground-themed interior boasts two levels, allowing inhabitants to get downstairs in a fun and non-traditional way. Accented with an abundance of warm wood finishes, Ki Design's apartment with a slide embodies a comfortable and elegant air. The breezy and effortlessly cool space is fuss-free, featuring comfy and modular sofa elements and oversized chairs that are perfect for lounging. Additionally, the contemporary apartment is also home to a [sustainable green wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-ann), a sleek kitchen space and its most impressive element, a [playground contraption](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape) that connects its two storeys seamlessly while acting as a fin focal point. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Playground-themed Interiors:** Creating living spaces with playful elements that invoke feelings of childhood freedom - **Multifunctional Living Spaces:** Designing living spaces that provide innovative and non-traditional modes of transport between levels - **Sustainable Home Features:** Incorporating eco-friendly elements into home design, such as green walls ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to tap into the growing demand for unique and personalized living spaces - **Real Estate Development:** Developing innovative living spaces as a way of attracting new buyers and renters - **Green Building Solutions:** Providing builders with eco-friendly options to incorporate into home design ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Nature-Inspired Indoor Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sarit-shani-hay.md) - [Surreal Kyiv Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-with-a-lizard.md) - [Modern-Updated Traditional Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skip-house.md) - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Skyline-Inspired Elegant Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obliqo.md) - [Climbing Wall-Integrated Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/musa-apartment.md) - [Fruit-Inspired Tonal Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oksana-dolgopiatova.md) - [Ultra-Slick Modern Apartment Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-apartment-interior.md)
