António Cachola is a man who appreciates good art. The Portuguese art collector, who grew up studying finance, never pursued crafting his own art but always kept collecting artwork as a hobby. Being a successful entrepreneur, he was able to acquire a vast amount of wealth to support his expensive hobby

In 2007, António Cachola opened up his own art collection to be showcased to all. The [Museum of Contemporary Arts of Elvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everlasting-plastics) features over 30 collections coming from Portuguese artists from the 1980s and onwards.

His most recent exhibit 'Museum in Ruins' features amazing modern artwork from artists Alexandre Farto and ±MaisMenos. Alexandre Farto, famous for his [wall carvings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawing-on-space), tears apart a wall in The Museum of Contemporary Arts of Elvas in beautiful ways. António Cachola is definitely a lucky man to be able to have this amazing personal collection.
