# Solid Brass Finish Launches Meljac Debuts the Elegant Antique Brass NA By Kalin Ned | Published 2026-07-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antique-brass References: [meljac](https://www.meljac.com/en/?presse=meljac-celebre-la-finition-antique-brass-na) Meljac, the Paris-based luxury switch manufacturer and accredited [Living Heritage Company](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-humidifier-concept) known for its expertise in brass surface treatment, has introduced Antique Brass NA. This solid brass finish has a natural patina created through a manual surface treatment process in the company's workshop on the outskirts of Paris. This allows it to produce a striking effect with alternating light and dark areas that reveal the depth of the material and give each piece a unique, authentic character. The Antique Brass NA's warm finish, with its natural color variations and soft, aged appearance, works equally well in contemporary and traditional settings. This serves to create a subtle dialogue with materials such as dark wood, natural stone, and marble, while the contrast between gentle matte areas and brighter highlights elevates the details of the fittings and enhances their decorative qualities. The Antique Brass NA finish is available across Meljac's Classique, Ellipse, [Damier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-damier-fine-jewelry), and [Solaris](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/screwless-sockets) collections.
